This Argentine Parrilla is my most popular size, it is a 48" restaurant level, structural steel, american made Argentine Parrilla wood-fired grill with side Brasero and repurposed Cast Iron hand wheel from the 1920's.This is one of the very few American made grills on Etsy. It is 54" wide, 30" deep and 70" high. It weighs around 300 pounds. Please note the extra large wheels for moving it around the yard, gravel, grass. A full back is very important for wood sparks, wind and flame and a full "boxed" cart of heavy material for stiffness, stability and longevity.
This grill is inspired by my friend Francis Mallmann, a world renowned chef from Argentina, who has single-handedly inspired the "Live-Fire" movement of large format cooking over wood in the outdoors. Before I met (and went fishing with) Francis, I didn't know any better than to cook over gas flame. He inspired me to look further, chase taste and the techniques that led me to build my own grill. This is the final product and has kept me busier than I ever would have thought. Wether it is a whole 20 pound Striped Bass, An entire suckling pig, A rack of ribs or a peck of eggplants or peppers, these grills give you the control to cook with more taste than any other outdoor technique I have seen. The signature "V" grill is solid stainless steel (as is the tray it sits in) that enables the juices of your meat to flow into a catch basin, avoiding smoke and fire that might ruin your entree.
I have read a number of ratings on some of the other grills on Etsy. I really invite you to as well. They are shipped from outside the US, come broken or bent, and when people complain, the sellers needs to get parts shipped that take months from overseas. NFIW grills are heavy duty, completely welded and not screwed together, use 3/16" steel plate (5x to overseas models) and will get immediate attention when you call for 5 years or more.
Please understand that shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. There is no way to have a one price fit all when shipping all around the globe. It would not be fair to have someone pay the same price 60 miles away as it would be for 3000 miles away. Give a ring for a shipping quote!
